Club times and days..
The Club meets on a Wednesday evening from around 5.30pm until 7.30pm.
If the White Water Course is running, Club paddlers who are up to paddling the white water course will paddle on the course throughout the evening's release. In winter the course is floodlit.
Alternatively, flat water paddlers meet and paddle on the warm up lake situated at the top end of the white water course. In winter this area is also floodlit.
All participants should have basic skills before attending a club night. Please note that persons under the age of 16 years must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. We cannot guarantee supervision on/off the water at any time.
As we cannot guarantee a qualified coach will be in attendance every club evening (they are all volunteers)we ask that all persons wishing to attend have at least one basic lesson with an established training school which includes a capsize drill.
Details of a basic lessons can be found via an Internet search or contact Four Seasons on Tel 01642 678000 where the staff at the White water centre will help you get one booked for a very reasonable charge
Please check with the Centre for opening times if you are not sure about water releases by phoning 01642 678000. The centre also has running times published on their website. Please check on the day before travelling in case of any changes or cancellations to releases.
Throughout the year, the club actively organises river trips and recreational sessions. These include River Running, Surfing, weekend away trips and fun events such as quizzes, ice skating and much more.

The club currently also has a very active and successful Slalom squad: "The Masterclass". This is a squad of dedicated and high ranking slalom paddlers. Entry to the squad is by invitation only, this is to maintain the high standard required in training. Please enquire with the club if your interested in slalom.
